Under agreements between the Presidents, the United States continues to support Ukraine in countering Russian aggression and ending the conflict in the east.

A batch of military equipment and first aid equipment recently arrived to Ukraine from the United States.

This is part of the 60 million additional security assistance that the United States sent to Ukraine in August this year.

The assistance is aimed at resolving the problem of Russia's increased military presence in Crimea and along Ukraine's borders.

It came in addition to the more than $2.5 billion in security assistance the United States has provided to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces since 2014.
